**Content Warning**
The stories I write often explore the darker aspects of the human experience. Depending on the novel, readers may encounter themes including violence, death, grief, trauma, psychological distress, mental illness, abuse, addiction, self-destructive behavior, disturbing imagery, loss, fear, isolation, moral ambiguity, and other mature or potentially triggering subject matter. Some books may also contain depictions of crime, horror elements, emotionally intense situations, or subjects that some readers may find unsettling.
Every reader brings their own experiences, sensitivities, and personal history to a story. Because of this, content that affects one reader may not affect another in the same way. I encourage you to approach these pages with an awareness of your own boundaries and emotional well-being.
While fiction can challenge us, move us, and encourage us to confront difficult subjects, your mental health should always come first. If at any point a scene, chapter, or storyline becomes overwhelming, distressing, or emotionally difficult to process, please give yourself permission to pause, step away, skip content, or discontinue reading altogether. There is no shame in protecting your peace, and there is no requirement to finish a book at the expense of your well-being.
These stories are works of fiction intended for entertainment and exploration of complex themes. They are not meant to diminish, glorify, or make light of real-world suffering. My hope is that readers find meaning, connection, suspense, wonder, or catharsis within these pages, but I also recognize that certain topics may be difficult for some individuals to engage with.
Please read with care, honor your limits, and take whatever time and space you need while experiencing these stories. The book will always be here if and when you choose to return to it.
Thank you for picking up one of my novels and allowing my words a place in your life. Above all else, I hope you take care of yourself.
